No Designated Driver for Holiday Parties? No Problem.
Free cabs are available in Kingstowne area between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. until Jan. 1

Feel free to kick back an extra eggnog at your next ugly sweater party this month; the Washington Regional Alcohol Program (WRAP) has got you covered for designated driver duties.
Starting today, Dec. 12, and running through Jan. 1 the WRAP will offer free cab rides for anyone who got a little too tipsy at the latest holiday party.
The service, called SoberRide, will pay up to a $30 fare at participating taxi companies for anyone 21 and over between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Those who wish to use SoberRide can call 1-800-200-8294. AT&T customers can also dial #WRAP.
After you dial the number, WRAP will dispatch a cab from one of their partner taxi companies. Those waiting for a SoberRide should look out for a cab from the participating taxi service in their area:
