No Injuries After Tractor-Trailer Crash Near I-95 In Springfield
Backlick Road has reopened after the tractor-trailer was cleared from the crash scene.
SPRINGFIELD, VA — A tractor-trailer crash tied up a road near Interstate 95 in Springfield Wednesday morning.
According to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue, a tractor-trailer coming from I-95 south crashed through a guardrail onto Backlick Road. No injuries were reported.
The crash temporarily blocked the northbound direction of Backlick Road between Barta Road and Fairfax County Parkway. WTOP Traffic reported at 8:35 a.m. that the tractor-trailer and crash scene had been cleared.
