Patch Survey: How Is The Vaccine Rollout Going In Virginia?

Over 1.1 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been given in Virginia. Have you received the shot or encountered a wait list? Take our survey.

VIRGINIA — Virginia is nearly two months into COVID-19 vaccinations, and over 1.1 million doses have been administered, according to state public health data.

As of Feb. 9, 1,130,763 doses have been administered, or approximately 70 percent of the 1,609,675 doses distributed so far in Virginia. According to the Virginia Department of Health, 913,158 people have at least one dose, and 217,605 are fully vaccinated. The percentage of the population with at least one dose stands at 10.7 percent.

Local health departments are facing wait lists for appointments as vaccine supplies continue to be very limited throughout the state. Residents can use the "When Can I Get Vaccinated" quiz to clarify when residents will become eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Have any of the 1.1 million shots administered thus far in Virginia gone into your arm? If so, Patch wants to know more about your experience, if you're on a wait list, or if you choose not to get the vaccine. This survey will remain open through noon on Thursday, Feb. 11.
