Students and instructors from Potomac Kempo in Kingstowne competed in Sunday's tournament against other students from two other dojos in Foxchase and Old Town Alexandria.

The tournament was held at the Crown Plaza and began at 9 a.m. The different competitions included traditional and creative weapon forms and a Burpees charity event to benefit the Alexandria Seaport Foundation (ASF).

ASF takes at-risk youths, and through the building of wooden boats, teaches them carpentry, academic, social and life skills necessary for success in the real world.
