Public Hearing for Car Wash at Festival at Manchester Lakes

UPCOMING PUBLIC HEARING – CAR WASH FESTIVAL AT MANCHESTER LAKES

The date of the Public Hearing (White Horse Four LLC - Car Wash) is Thursday, February 15, 2018, at 7:30pm, Board Auditorium of the Government Center at 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22035

Please remember at the public hearing nearby residents have the opportunity to speak in favor, opposition or voice concerns with the proposal application (Car Wash) prior to the Planning Commission voting on the matter.

Below are details if you would like to sign-up to be a speaker at the meeting. If you don’t want to be a speaker, then we ask that you please come out and support your community with your presence or email and write the Planning Commission Office directly.

Note: MLMA position is in opposition of the car wash

1). Fill out the online sign-up form at: https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/planningcommission/speaker

before 3:00 p.m. on the day of the scheduled hearing:

Note: Where it says: “Name of group or association you are representing”; you should type N/A as you will be an individual speaker.

Please check your Spam/Junk Mail for return receipt confirmation of being a speaker. The email will come from the Planning Commission email address.

2) Call the Planning Commission Office at 703-324-2865 before 3:00 p.m. on the day of the scheduled hearing if you would like to speak. Leave your name, day and evening telephone numbers, and email address with the staff, along with the topic you are interested in addressing.

3). Submit your testimony electronically before 3:00pm on the day of the scheduled hearing. Submit by emailing to: plancom@fairfaxcounty.gov.

• Please ensure you read the full details, including how long you have to speak five (5) minutes, the materials you need to submit seventeen (17) copies of your testimony(bring with you) or submit testimony electronically before 3:00pm on the day of the scheduled hearing. Submit by emailing to: plancom@fairfaxcounty.gov.

Don’t Want to Speak but Still Support Your Community

1). If you don’t want to speak, then please email or write a letter to the Planning Commission.

Remember to include the Applicant’s Name and Number when emailing or writing.
