Suspect Steals Cart Full of Groceries at Kingstowne Giant: Police
A Giant store employee followed a woman stealing a cart full of groceries and was assaulted by a man waiting in the parking lot, police say.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A woman took a cart full of groceries without paying Saturday night from the Kingstowne Towne Center, according to Fairfax County Police. A store employee was injured by another suspect after she tried to intervene.
Police say the incident took place around 6 p.m. Saturday at the store, located at 5870 Kingstowne Blvd. (see map below). A store employee saw a woman leave with a cart full of groceries without paying, police said. The employee followed the suspect to a white four-door car, when a man got out and pushed the victim to the ground and began kicking her.
The two suspects fled in the car and were described as black, in their 50s, and the woman was around 6 feet tall and slender. The victim did not require medical attention.
