Taste Of Springfield To Be Held For Third Year

At least 17 food vendors will give tastes at this annual event.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—Taste of Springfield is returning for a third year to showcase the tastiest foods around the area. The festival has been set for Saturday, June 1 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at Springfield Town Center.

The event is free, and $1 tasting tickets will be available for purchase. Aside from tastes from participating restaurants, there will be exhibitors, entertainment and live music.

New this year is a car show from noon-3 p.m. Attendees can vote for their favorite cars in various categories.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Theresa S. Jacobs Foundation, which provides an intergalactic experience for children battling cancer, serious illnesses or disabilities.
