Virginia Tornado Preparedness Drill Set for Tuesday

Tuesday is Tornado Preparedness Day across Virginia with a statewide drill  at 9:45 a.m.

What's your plan in case of a tornado? Make sure you and your family have a plan of action in case of a tornado warning.

Down in the basement and away from windows is the safest place. If you don't have a basement, seek cover under a sturdy doorframe or table. If you're out of your house or on the road, find a ditch to lie down in. Your car is not safe.
