Fifty-eight residents were displaced in an apartment fire Sunday night in Lake Ridge, according to the Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department.
Crews reported heavy smoke and fire showing through the roof when they arrived at 3681 Meandering Way in Lake Ridge.
The fire was contained to one apartment building, but fire tactics required cutting the roof away on the adjoining building to stop the spread of fire, thereby making it uninhabitable, according to firefighters.
