CADET AVEMARY MORKOS IS RECIPIENT OF DAR JROTC AWARD
Cadet Avemary Morkos of Lake Braddock Secondary School’s Junior Reserve Office Training Corps (JROTC) received the DAR JROTC Award from the Anna Maria Fitzhugh Chapter, NSDAR, on 24 May 2019. Cadet Morkos is considered the top cadet in her senior JROTC class. During her four years in JROTC, she has held numerous key positions and has exhibited outstanding leadership skills. She has also excelled in academics and numerous extracurricular activities. She is recipient of the George C. Marshal Foundation Leadership and Academic Award.
Cadet Morkos will attend George Mason University where she will study cybersecurity.
