Nurse Charged For Sex With Inmate At Fairfax Jail: Police
A former nurse at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center was arrested for having sex with an inmate: Fairfax County Police.
A former nurse at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center was arrested Thursday for having sexual contact with a female inmate in December 2017, according to Fairfax County Police. Christopher Chimera, 39, of Lake Ridge, was charged with one count of sexual battery.
The victim contacted police Oct. 18, and an investigation commenced. Chimera was employed by Maxim Healthcare Services, which has a contract with Fairfax County. More recently, he was employed by the Fairfax Community Services Board (CSB) as a nurse, from July until this month. He was put on administrative leave once the investigation began, and no longer works there.
