Person Dies Jumping Off I-95 Bridge Into Occoquan River: Report
According to a report, the person jumped off the bridge Saturday night in an attempt to end their life.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Virginia State Police are investigating a Saturday night incident in which a person died after jumping off the Interstate 95 bridge over the Occoquan River. According to reports, the person died by suicide.
State police received the report of someone going over the bridge around 7 p.m., Inside NoVA reported. One lane was blocked for hours while police searched for and recovered the body.
No additional details have been released.
