Police Seek Bank Robber in Raincoat Friday

BB&T at Dillingham Square was robbed Friday afternoon. The suspect fled on foot.

LAKE RIDGE, VA — Prince William County Police is looking for the suspect in a robbery at a Lake Ridge area bank Friday afternoon.

Shortly after 1 p.m., the suspect waked into the BB&T Bank at 12435 Dillingham Sq. An employee told police the man approached the bank area and pulled out a knife.

The man demanded money and left the branch with an undisclosed amount of cash. He fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, between 20 and 25 years of age, 6', 200lbs, with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark raincoat with a dark hoodie jacket underneath, grey or dark urban camo pants and black and white shoes.

The same bank branch was robbed in March as county officers were attending the memorial services for fallen officer Ashley Guindon.
