Robber Hits Bank Inside Lake Ridge Grocery Store

Suspect fled scene on foot and is still at large, say Prince William County police.

The Prince William County police are searching for a man who robbed a bank inside a grocery store Thursday in Lake Ridge.

No injuries were reported in the robbery, which took place at the PNC Bank in the Giant store at 12445 Hedges Run Drive, in the Lake Ridge Commons shopping center, the police said early Thursday afternoon on the department’s Facebook page.

The suspect entered the bank area of the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money, the police said. He fled the store with the money, and was last seen running to the rear of the Giant.
