Shooting Suspect Tracked Down in Lake Ridge

Prince William County police arrest Woodbridge man charged in Feb. 3 incident.

Prince William County police detectives on Wednesday found and arrested the second suspect in a Feb. 3 shooting and armed robbery in Woodbridge.

The suspect, Frank Sincere Malcolm Howell (in photo), 27, was located at a residence in the 12000 block of Winona Drive in Lake Ridge, where he was taken into custody without incident, according to a police report.

Howell, who lives in the 3500 block of Castle Hill Drive in Woodbridge, is charged with malicious wounding, robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony, police said. He’s being held without bond at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center. Howell’s next date in court is scheduled for March 17.

The Feb. 3 shooting occurred in the 13100 block of Hillendale Drive in Dale City, according to police. The victim, a 19-year-old Alexandria man, told police that he made arrangements to buy marijuana from a man later identified as Antwain Jaquez Morehead (in second photo), 27, of Woodbridge.

When they met, Morehead was accompanied by another man who was not known to the victim, later identified by police as Howell. During the encounter, the victim was shot by one of the suspects, police said.

The two suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, and the victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Morehead was arrested on Feb. 4 and remains in custody on charges of malicious wounding, robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
