Update: Police Release Photos of Lake Ridge Bank Robber
Suspect fled on foot after holding up bank inside grocery store, say Prince William County police.
Images: Surveillance photos show the suspect in Thursday’s robbery of a PNC Bank in Lake Ridge (PWCPD).
The Prince William County police have released surveillance images of a man who robbed a bank inside a Giant grocery store Thursday in Lake Ridge.
No injuries were reported in the robbery, which took place at the PNC Bank in the Giant store at 12445 Hedges Run Drive, in the Lake Ridge Commons shopping center, the police said.

Officers responded to the grocery store at 12:08 p.m. An employee told them that an unknown man had approached the bank area, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot to the rear of the grocery store, according to a police report.
The police searched the area with a K-9 unit (an officer with a trained dog). They describe the suspect as a man of unknown race, with a light complexion, between 20 and 30 years of age, and 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 4 inches tall with a slender build.

The suspect was last seen wearing a gray and black North Face hooded jacket, dark-colored sunglasses, blue jeans and a black scarf covering his face, police said.
