Violent Fight Lands Lake Ridge Couple in Jail
Police respond after man stabbed in left shoulder: Prince William County police.

The Prince William County police arrested a man and woman from Lake Ridge on Thursday after the man was seen running down a local street with a stab wound to his neck, according to a police report.
Officers responded to the report at 7 a.m. Thursday in the 12400 block of Cavalier Drive in Lake Ridge. After an investigation, they charged Christopher Lee Levelle, 27, of 12465 Cavalier Drive, with strangulation, domestic assault and battery, and providing a false identity to law enforcement; and Julia Marie Essman, 30, of the same address, with malicious wounding, police said. Both were being held without bond at the Prince William-Manassas regional jail.

The police on Thursday morning searched the area and eventually located Levelle at his residence, suffering from a stab wound to his left shoulder, the police report said. Essman, a second occupant of the home, was also found inside the residence, suffering from minor injuries to her neck.
The police investigation revealed that both parties were involved in a verbal altercation inside the home that escalated, the police said. During the encounter, Levelle assaulted Essman and, at one point, began to choke her.

Neither individual would cooperate with police as to how Levelle was stabbed, according to the police report. Both parties know each other and were subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment. Following the investigation, both were charged.
