Wanted: Burglary and Attempted Rape Suspect
Several warrants for Demarcus Irish in Monday incident, according to Prince William County Police.
A Woodbridge man is wanted for multiple counts including burglary and attempted rape, according to the Prince William County Police.
Officials responded to the 2500 block of Miranda Lane at 3:58 a.m. Monday for a reported burglary that was in progress. The female resident told police that was asleep and woke to a sound in the lower level of the home. She checked the residence to find Demarcus Irish, 25, a known acquaintance who had allegedly forced his way into the home via rear window, according to police.
The victim and accused got into a verbal altercation. Irish allegedly sexually assaulted the resident and then fled the home, according to police. The victim has been in an ongoing dispute with Irish for several weeks and there were already warrants filed for previous incidents.

Irish is wanted for two counts of burglary with intent to commit a felony, two counts of burglary with intent to commit a misdemeanor, and one count of attempted rape. He is also wanted for domestic assault & battery, destruction of property, and threatening text messages.
Irish resides at the 2100 block of Port Potomac Avenue. He is described as a 5’8” black male weighing 165 pounds with a medium build. He has a medium complexion, short black hair, brown eyes, a goatee, and tattoos on both arms.
