Suspect Identified, Charged In Round Hill Slaying: Police
UPDATE: A Round Hill man is in custody and was charged in connection with a Saturday morning stabbing that killed a woman, police said.
ROUND HILL, VA — One person is dead following a stabbing at a home in the Stoneleigh neighborhood in Round Hill, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said Saturday. A suspect is now in custody.
Deputies were called to a home in the 17800 block of Stoneleigh Drive around 10 a.m. Saturday. Authorities said the violence was between the home's occupants and there is no current threat to the community.
Stone Colburn, a 23-year-old Round Hill resident, was arrested at the scene of the stabbing, according to the sheriff's office. He is charged with second degree murder and unlawfully stabbing in commission of a felony.

Authorities have only described the victim as "an adult female." They have not released her identity as they work to notify her next of kin.
Colburn's first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday, July 6. He is currently being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
