AAA Lansdowne Store to Close Dec. 10

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The AAA Lansdowne Store, located at 19317 Winmeade Drive in Lansdowne, will close on Saturday, Dec, 10, 2016, according to an announcement by AAA.

AAA says the company is looking for a new location that will accommodate the addition of its Car Care services and expects to open a new store in the area in the future.

“While we will be closing our Lansdowne location, we are committed to continuing to provide the services AAA members and the public expect at our other area stores,” said Thomas Calcagni, director of public and government affairs for AAA Mid-Atlantic. “Our top priority is to ensure that we continue to offer the AAA services you need and expect at one of our other area locations.”

Since 2011 AAA Mid-Atlantic has opened one-stop retail locations across the Washington metro area that provide members and the public automotive repair and maintenance, travel, insurance and financial services, and travel related merchandise.

AAA Mid-Atlantic has more than one million members in Virginia, more than 925,000 members in Maryland and 78,000 members in the nation’s capital, according to AAA.

AAA has four area locations in Northern Virginia:

• Fairfax Car Care, Insurance, Travel Center (CCIT), located at 9400 Main Street, Fairfax
• Fairfax, located at 4100 Monument Corner Drive, Fairfax
• Manassas Car Care, Insurance, Travel Center (CCIT): 7865 Sudley Road, Manassas
• Tysons: 8300 Old Courthouse Road, Suite 110, Vienna

The car care centers provide maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs such as tires, brakes, tune-ups, oil change, air conditioning and cooling systems, battery replacements and electrical work. In addition to providing auto repair, the AAA Car Care, Insurance, Travel Centers (CCIT) are full service AAA retail stores where members and non-members attain membership, purchase insurance, book trips and flights and more.
