Central Loudoun Youth Football League Takes Home 9th Annual Patriot Cup

Leesburg, VA (July 7, 2016) – Despite rainy weather, the annual Leesburg Independence Day parade featured a wide variety of entries. Members of the Leesburg Daybreak Rotary Club judged Central Loudoun Youth Football League’s float as “best in show” and awarded them the 9th annual Patriot Cup. Mayor David Butler presented the trophy, which will be engraved with the winner’s name and placed on display at the Leesburg Town Hall. The Patriot Cup competition is sponsored by Loudoun Now newspaper.

Central Loudoun Youth Football League (CLYFL) was formed over 40 years ago to provide a formal sports program for boys and girls in the central Loudoun/Leesburg area. CLYFL is a non-profit organization deriving all funding from registration fees, fundraising projects and donations from the local business community.
