Chesterbrook Academy Preschool Students Host Penny Drive

Students participated in a penny drive and raised $275 to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Pennies for Patients program

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Aldie recently held a penny drive and collected $275 to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Pennies for Patients program. Over the past few weeks, students and their families worked together to collect spare change for the penny drive. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping others in need.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. The LLS mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
