Coton & Rye Grand Opening Set for Sept. 8

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Coton & Rye, the new Virginia Tavern at Lansdowne Resort and Spa, will hold its Grand Opening on Thursday, Sept. 8, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., according to Lansdowne Resort & Spa.

"Try our signature Turkey Pot Pie, the Bloody Butcher Corn Cakes with Red Pepper Sauce and the West Virginia Coal Miners Roll Ups in a Pot! If you are all about sweets, try the Elvis Presley Cookies and Milkshake before anything else for a mouthwatering bite of cookies with bacon and chocolate or vanilla ice cream sandwich!" Located at the Lansdowne Resort & Spa at 44050 Woodridge Parkway, Leesburg, Coton & Rye serves reinvented classic Virginian recipes and locally sourced ingredients from the mid-Atlantic region. In celebration of Virginia’s rich culinary history, Coton and Rye offers traditional local dishes recreated to fit the “Lansdowne Lifestyle” of today, according to the Lansdowne Resort and Spa.

Coton and Rye will serve food that will "embody the essence of Loudoun County with local beer, wine, meat and cheese," said Chef Marcus Repp, Director of Culinary Operations, Lansdowne Resort and Spa.

Starting Friday, Sept. 9, Coton and Rye will be open daily for dinner and drinks from 3 p.m until midnight. It will be open Saturdays and Sundays for lunch from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
