County Launches 'Loudoun Is Ready' Pledge Campaign For Businesses

"Loudoun Is Ready" offers a health and safety pledge for businesses, industry-specific guidelines and resources for support.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA – Loudoun County has launched the "Loudoun Is Ready" pledge campaign for local businesses to commit to the best health and safety practices for customers as the area begins slowly reopening after the coronavirus outbreak and subsequent shutdown.

Businesses that sign the pledge will receive free marketing exposure and business resources from the Loudoun Economic Development. The marketing materials include 'Loudoun Is Ready' window stickers, campaign buttons and social distancing floor markers.

To date, 58 businesses in Loudoun County have signed the pledge.

The business support comes from Take Loudoun Home, a call to action for the community to buy local and support their local businesses that have faced unprecedented loss of business due to the pandemic. More than 200 businesses are part of Take Loudoun Home, offering goods and services by delivery or takeout.

The pledge offers resources for businesses to stay up to date on industry-specific guidelinesfor Phase 1 of the reopening. The guidelines are offered for brick-and-mortar retail businesses, breweries, farmers markets, fitness and exercise facilities, hotels and much more.
