Deputies Save Woman After Suspected Heroin Overdose: LCSO

After a suspected heroin overdose, deputies revived an unconscious woman who was not breathing by administering Naloxone.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Loudoun Sheriff's Deputies saved a unconscious woman who displayed symptoms of a suspected heroin overdose on Sept. 19, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).

According to the report, LCSO responded to the location of E. Broad Way and S. Loudoun St. in Lovettsville to assist rescue with a female laying on the sidewalk unconscious.

When deputies arrived they made contact with the female and determined that she displayed symptoms of a suspected heroin overdose.

The female was not breathing and deputies administered Naloxone.

She then became conscious and alert.

The female was transported to a local hospital for treatment, according to the LCSO.
