Dorothy J. Harris, 87

Dorothy J. Harris passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. She was 87 years old.

Many will remember her as the school secretary; a position she held during her long career with the Loudoun County School System. Dorothy made friends while volunteering as a “Pink Lady” with the Loudoun Memorial Hospital.

Dorothy will be remembered fondly by the many friends and loved ones she leaves behind. Those left to cherish her memories include her children Mary Debra Grimes and Carol Lee Lanham; grandchildren Mary Beth Philpott and Kimberly Grimes; and a great grandchild Maddox James Philpott.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm on Monday, November 23, 2015 at St. James Episcopal Church, 14 Cornwall Street NW, Leesburg, Virginia 20176. Burial will follow the service in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, Virginia. The Reverend Feathers will be officiating.
