'Family Fun Saturday' Debuts in Leesburg Sept. 17
Activities at the new monthly 'Family Fun Saturday' in Leesburg will include live music, crafts, face painting, free treats--and more.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA – "Family Fun Saturday," a new family event, will take place in the historic downtown every third Saturday of the month, according to the Leesburg Downtown Business Association (LDBA) .
Beginning September 17, live entertainment will be available at participating businesses and near Mervin Jackson Park. Specifically focused towards families, activities will include live music, demonstrations, crafts, face painting, free treats--and more.
“A large part of LDBA's purpose is to create and encourage a more vibrant downtown. We have accomplished that goal for adults with Leesburg’s FirstFriday,” said LDBA President Gwen Pangle. “Family Fun Saturday will center on our children and their families so that they are encouraged to enjoy downtown and develop a sense of 'place' with their hometown."
