Fatal Car Crash Kills Middleburg Man: State Police
The Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle car crash that killed a Middleburg Man on Sunday afternoon.
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A Middleburg man died in a fatal single-vehicle car crash in Loudoun County on Sunday afternoon. The man, Gregory Pellegrino, crashed at the intersection of Lime Kiln Road and Snickersville Turnpike.
Authorities said that Pellegrino's 2012 Bentley GT ran off the road before 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. The car then struck a tree, state police officials said.
Pellegrino died at the scene of the crash, according to a release from Virginia State Police.

The investigation is still ongoing. However, authorities believe that a medical emergency may have contributed to the crash.
Pellegrino was a resident of Middleburg, and he was 55 years old.

Pellegrino was an executive branch leader at Deloitte, according to his LinkedIn page. His biography on Deloitte's website stated that he worked primarily with the Department of Veteran Affairs.
In lieu of flowers, the family said donations in memory of Greg may be sent to the Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program, where Greg served as a board member. Donations will support equine-assisted programming for recovering service members and Veterans, a project Greg was helping to grow and cared about deeply, according to his family.
