'Ferris Bueller' Scheduled As Final Drive-In Movie Of Summer
Loudoun County will host "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" on Friday, July 31, as the final film in its summer series of drive-in movies.
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services will host "Ferris Bueller’s Day Off" on Friday, July 31, the final film in its summer series of three popup, drive-in movie events. Tickets will be available online starting at noon Thursday.
The parks department said when the current run of three movies is over, it may examine the feasibility of continuing drive-in movies in the future.
Movies are shown in the parking lot at Segra Field, 42095 Loudoun United Drive, Leesburg. Gates open at 8 p.m. Details can be found at loudoun.gov/driveinmovies and facebook.com/loudounprcs.

As part of the summer series, the drive-in theater will show "Jurassic Park" on Friday, followed by "Forrest Gump" on Friday, July 24.
Tickets are limited in order to allow appropriate distancing between vehicles. Tickets cost $20 per vehicle. Limited VIP front-row spaces are available for $30.

Ten "picnic plots" — for up to five individuals attending together — have been added in front of the movie screen. Plots sell for $40 and can accommodate blankets or lawn chairs.
