LEESBURG, VA — All downtown parking in Leesburg will continue to be free through the end of 2020 in order to continue to support downtown businesses during the coronavirus crisis, the town of Leesburg said Tuesday.
Parking at the Town Hall parking garage, the Church Street parking lot, and all on-street meters will remain free of charge. The two-hour limit at parking meters will still apply. Paid parking in downtown Leesburg is expected to resume in 2021, the town said.
“The Town of Leesburg continues to support our downtown businesses through these challenging economic times brought upon us by the COVID-19 pandemic,” Leesburg Town Manager Kaj Dentler said in a statement. “It is our hope that the continuation of the complimentary parking program will help to attract more visitors to the downtown.”
