Hillsboro Farmers Market Opens May 17 at Old Stone School

Weekly event offers fresh food, local goods and live music.

Join us for opening day of the Hillsboro Farmers Market at the Old Stone School with fresh food, local goods, and live music this Saturday, May 17 starting at 9:30 a.m. The market will be open Saturdays through September 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Old Stone School is located at 37098 Charles Town Pike in Hillsboro, Virginia.

There will be a wonderful variety of vendors with fresh and local goods. Many of these are returning from last season and some are new this year. The market will have fruits and vegetables, fresh baked goods, maple syrup, pottery, herbs and flowers, teas, jams and jellies, eggs, beef, lamb, pork, turkey, soaps, gelato, and watercolor art and stationary. 

On opening day, in addition to the wonderful food and goods, local band Hard Swimmin’ Fish will be performing at the market. Additionally, the first 25 customers on opening day will get a free Hillsboro Farmers Market hot/cold insulated shopping bag. To see a list of vendors at the market, find out how to have a booth at the market, and learn about volunteer opportunities, visit HillsboroFarmersMarket.org. 

The Hillsboro Farmers Market is co-hosted by the Hillsboro Community Association & Friends of the Old Stone School and the Town of Hillsboro.
