“We love Pumpkin Village for so many reasons,” said Rodriguez, adding that last year’s event attracted around 35,000 visitors. “Setting up the fall decor and watching families enjoy the festivities is so exciting. Pumpkin Village is by far the busiest time of year for us, and it’s great to so many families enjoying the outdoors together.”

Visitors can pick the perfect pumpkin and select from mums, baked goods and other seasonal treats at Layng's Farm Market.

Admission to the festival includes a free apple & cider snack and a handheld pumpkin to take home.

Popular activities available year-round at Leesburg Animal Park include hay wagon rides, animal petting and feeding, pony rides and live animal shows. The park’s new indoor facility features a 3-level indoor play zone, birthday party rooms and animal exhibits open throughout the year.

Pumpkin Village will be open 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily from Sept. 17 to Nov.r 8 at Leesburg Animal Park, located at 19270 James Monroe Highway in Leesburg.
