Speed Limit On East Market Street In Leesburg To Slow
The change is scheduled to take place on Friday.
LEESBURG, VA — The speed limit on part of East Market Road will be reduced this Friday as part of an ongoing construction project between Cardinal Park Drive SE and River Creek Parkway SE.
The Virginia Department of Transportation said the speed limit on East Market between Cardinal Park and River Creek will drop from 55 miles per hour to 45.
The change comes as part of the Route 7 and Battlefield Parkway interchange project, which includes replacing the existing traffic signal at the interchange with a grade-separated interchange.
