Leesburg Man Charged for Allegedly Stabbing Dog
Loudoun authorities have filed animal cruelty charges against a Leesburg man who allegedly stabbed his family's dog in the neck.

An 18-year-old Leesburg man faces animal cruelty charges after allegedly stabbing his family’s dog in the neck, according to Loudoun County Animal Services.
The dog is currently recovering from injuries sustained during the incident and has since been returned to the home after being treated by a local veterniarian.
Michael Bowles was arrested Monday, Oct. 6 on one misdemeanor count of animal cruelty, which is punishable by up to 12 months in jail and a fine of up to $2,500. He is currently being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
