Leesburg Police Investigate A Commercial Burglary

The police report indicates it occurred early Monday.

Leesburg, VA – On Monday, May 17, 2021 at approximately 3:03 AM, Leesburg Police Officers were dispatched to a business at 108 South Street SE for a glass break alarm. Officers responded to the scene and noticed that the front glass door of the business was shattered. Entry was made into the business by an unknown subject(s). Several items in the business were disturbed and a small amount of cash was taken. The Loudoun County Sherriff’s Office assisted Leesburg Police Detectives with processing the scene. Similar incidents are being investigated in the County, and detectives are working to see if the burglaries are connected.

The incident remains under investigation by the Leesburg Police Department Criminal Investigations Section.
