Police Dept. Searching for Missing Leesburg Man
The Leesburg Police Department is searching for a 71-year-old man suffering from Alzheimer's who was last seen on Connery Terrace Wednesday.
The Leesburg Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 71-year-old Leesburg man who suffers from Alzheimer’s and left his home Wednesday afternoon.
Thomas C. Merritts left a residence in the 200 block of Connery Terrace SW, Leesburg at approximately 1:55 p.m. driving a 2012 gray Nissan Rogue with a license plate: VAU-2698. Merritts told his wife he was headed to work in New York, according to Leesburg police.
Merritts is described as 5’8” tall and 180 pounds with balding gray hair. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a red winter vest and a baseball cap.
