Leesburg Restaurant Inspections: Great China, Dairy Queen, More

LEESBURG, VA — Local health officials recently inspected food preparation and storage at food establishments in Leesburg and western Loudoun County. During the last week of inspections, officials found a total of 26 violations at six restaurants and one caterer in Leesburg and western Loudoun County.

Violations noted below — such as the six at Great China and the five at Dairy Queen in Leesburg — involve those issues that would typically require a re-inspection if not corrected or those that are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination.

"In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations," according to Virginia Department of Health's website.
