Leesburg Restaurant Inspections: Violations At 5 Locations
The Loudoun County Health Department found violations at 5 restaurants in Leesburg and Middleburg, including more roaches at Bua Thai.
LEESBURG, VA — Officials from the Loudoun County Health Department inspected multiple restaurants across the Leesburg area from June 9 to June 16, including one restaurant that had live roaches in its kitchen for the second time in two weeks.
As coronavirus restrictions continue to loosen around the state, health inspectors are returning to conduct restaurant inspections in person. However, some visits, such as those for training purposes, can be conducted virtually.
Violations at restaurants typically focus on factors that can contribute to food contamination. The local health department also performs a re-inspection to ensure that possible violations have been corrected.
