Leesburg New Year's Eve Events: 2019 Guide

LEESBURG, VA — Whether you plan to ring in 2020 at at your favorite restaurant, a winery or brewery, or a concert before the ball drops, Patch has you covered.

Think up some resolutions you'll actually keep and get ready to celebrate by taking a look at this listing of local New Year's celebrations and events for the end of 2019 and the dawning of the new decade. There are plenty of celebratory options both in Leesburg and elsewhere in Loudoun County.

Brew Years Eve Dinner & Dance Party: 6 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 1
Ring in the New Year right and celebrate the start of 2020 with the Brew Year's Eve Party presented by Delirium Cafe. The party will feature a dinner menu at $45 per guest with beer flights available for $15. Dinner seating will start at 6 p.m. with the last seating at 11:30 p.m. A dance party DJ will be there to MC the celebration into the New Year with Top 40 and old school music and a celebratory toast at midnight. Located at Delirium Cafe at 101 S. King St. in Leesburg. Tickets are available online.

NYE Party at Lansdowne: 9 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 1 a.m. on Jan. 1
End your year in style and roar into 2020 at Lansdowne Resort and Spa with an evening of Gatsby inspired dress and dance. Dance the night away with the Gatsby Gang Jazz Band and enjoy specialty cocktails from the open bar. Ring in the new year with a champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight. This formal event is open to the public, resort guest and members. Tickets are $100-plus per person for the public and resort guests and $75-plus for members. The party will take place at Piedmont's Ballroom at 44050 Woodridge Pkwy in Leesburg.

New Year's Eve Grand Salamander Party: 9 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 1 a.m. on Jan. 1
Say farewell to 2019 and toast 2020 at the Salamander Resort and Spa in Middleburg. The party will feature live music, a large dance floor, all you can enjoy champagne, open bar and small bites passed throughout the evening. As the countdown begins, enjoy a complimentary toast provided by Moet and Chandon as the balloons fall and the music plays on. For more information, call 540-326-4070. NYE Ball Drop at Bowlero: 9 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 1 a.m. on Jan. 1
Enjoy four hours of unlimited bowling (shoes included) at Bowlero in Leesburg. The New Year's Eve menu inlcudes hummus, pretzel dippers, cheeseburger sliders, tots and queso, pepperoni pizza, taco bar, cheese and fruit plattter, crispy Cap'n Crunch treats, cookie and brownie display, chips and salsa, cheese pizza, Caesar salad, chicken tenders. Celebrate with sparkling cider and champagne toast. Bowlero is located at 1602 Village Market Boulevard Southeast in Leesburg. Tickets can be purchased online.

New Years Eve Party at ChefScape with DJ ELI: 9 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 1 a.m. on Jan. 1
Tickets are $30 per person in advance and include hors d'oeuvres from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., party favors, and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets are $40 per person at the door. Chefscape is located at 1602 Village Market Blvd. #115 in Leesburg. Tickets can be purchased online.

New Years Eve Dance Party with DJ John Coulter: Party starts at 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 31
Dance your booty off with DJ John Coulter at Spanky's Shenanigans. No cover charge. Party starts at 9: 30 p.m. and goes until close. John will be taking your requests and mixing his tail off. Spanky's Shenanigans is located at 538 East Market St. in Leesburg.

New Years Eve with the Reagan Years: 7 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 1
Countdown the new year with The Reagan Years, an East Coast 80's Tribute Band at the Tally Ho Theatre. Enjoy drink specials, hors d'oeuvres, and a champagne toast at midnight. VIP ticket holders will receive two free drink tickets upon entry. Dress to impress. The Tally Ho Theatre is located in downtown Leesburg at 19 W Market St. Tickets can be purchased online.

Family New Year’s Eve celebration featuring Mark Nizer: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Dec. 31
Mark Nizer brings his one-man show to the stage at Franklin Park for a spectacular New Year's Eve in 3-D. Don’t miss the combination of original comedy, world class juggling, movement, music and technology that promises a spellbinding evening. Whether juggling laser beams or five ping pong balls being thrown 20 feet in the air using only his mouth, this show will amaze people of all ages. The event is presented in partnership with Friends of Franklin Park Arts Center.Tickets are $10 person or $35 for a family of four or more. The event will take place at the Franklin Park Performing & Visual Arts Center at 36441 Blueridge View Lane just off Old Route 7 between Purcellville and Round Hill.

868 Is Open On New Year's Eve: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Dec. 31
Stop by the tasting room to toast to the new year ahead. 868 Estate Vineyards will be open as usual from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on New Year's Eve for tastings, bottle sales, hot pretzels and chocolate truffles. 868 Estate Vineyards includes the Grandale Restaurant, which is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Dec. 31 serving its regular menu and special New Year's features as well. 868 Estate Vineyards is located at 14001 Harpers Ferry Rd. (Route 671), just off Route 9 west of Hillsboro. Dinner reservations at Grandale can be made online.

British New Year 2020: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Dec. 31
Vanish Farmwoods Brewery is hosting a Liverpool-themed British New Year's Eve Party. The party will include a Vanish cider release, food specials, balloon drop, face-painting and live music. Best of all: it's free. The ball drop will happen at 7 p.m. Vanish Farmwoods Brewery is located at 42245 Black Hops Lane in Leesburg. Let them know if you're attending or just interested.
