(Ashburn Ice House)

Looking for a physical activity for yourself or your kids? Ashburn Ice House is offering Learn To Skate classes for a variety of ages, as young as three and a half to any aged adult. This curriculum is the only Learn to Skate program endorsed by USA Hockey, US Speed Skating, Special Olympics, and US Figure Skating.

All participants and instructors are required to wear a mask and will practice social distancing. Classes sizes have been reduced and are organized into age specific levels and designed for any beginner to acquire the necessary skills to enjoy the sport of ice skating for a lifetime.

“For 22 years we’ve been offering the Learn To Skate program to our community and are proud to do so again this year. We’ve implemented many safety protocols including requiring every participant and instructor to wear a mask, enhanced cleaning practices, no touch temperature check upon arrival and social distancing where practicable,” said Rob Lorenzen, General Manager, Ashburn Ice House.
