LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The Loudoun Medical Reserve Corps is calling for volunteers to help in protecting the community’s health during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Medical Reserve Corps serves a key role in the county’s fall influenza vaccination campaigns. When the time comes, the reserve corps also will play an important role in coronavirus vaccination campaigns, according to the Loudoun County Health Department.
Medical professionals of all types are needed, including doctors, nurses, emergency medical technicians, dentists and veterinarians. Nonmedical volunteers also are needed to serve as translators, provide logistical support, staff information lines and perform other nonmedical functions.
