#LoveLoudoun Campaign Encourages Support Of Local Restaurants

The social media campaign gives Loudoun County residents the chance to win a special meal by posting photos of meals from local eateries.

LEESBURG, VA — As the coronavirus pandemic continues and small businesses and the restaurant industry continues to struggle to survive due to restrictions, three Loudoun County organizations have launched a social media campaign designed to help local eateries.

On Tuesday, Visit Loudoun, the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce and Loudoun Economic Development announced the #LoveLoudoun campaign, which includes a sweepstakes that gives local residents the opportunity to win a special meal – just by dining at restaurants around the county.

The campaign is built around the idea of local residents supporting their favorite Loudoun County resident. Each time they do, the campaign encourages diners to post a photo of their meal and post them to Instagram using the hashtag #LoveLoudounFood and then tag and follow that restaurant.

Each post is considered an entry into the sweepstakes which means each time residents dine out, they have an additional chance to win. Prizes include a Super Bowl meal for six, a Valentine’s Day dinner for two or a St. Patrick’s Day dinner for six. Three winners will be selected randomly and notified by direct message on Instagram. Diners may post from any Loudoun County restaurant they dine in at or carry out from.
