Movies Under The Stars 2019 In Leesburg: Schedule, Information

LEESBURG, VA—Call it the perfect date night. Or family night. Or just hanging out with friends night. Whatever you wish to call it, the town of Leesburg has an official name for it: "Movies under the Stars."

Beginning June 21, the free cinematic gathering features a movie the third Friday of each month throughout the summer. It's held on the grounds of the Loudoun County Courthouse in downtown, 18 East Market Street.

The movies begin at dusk, or between 8:15-8:45 p.m. Blankets and picnic fare are encouraged, but pets and alcohol are prohibited. Here's the 2019 schedule:

• June 21: Trolls, starring Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake
• July 19: Grease, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John
• August 16: Instant Family, starring Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne
