Multiple Police Units Round Up Suicidal Juvenile Fleeing Hospital: LCSO

LEESBURG, VA — Multiple police units, including a helicopter and K9, were used to locate a suicidal juvenile who fled a Leesburg hospital on foot on Oct. 15, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).

Deputies say that LCSO units responded at the request from Leesburg Police Department to locate the suicidal juvenile who had fled the hospital on foot in scrubs.

LCSO assisted with the perimeter and the K9 track.

Fairfax Police helicopter checked the area.

The juvenile was located by the Leesburg Police at the Leesburg Plaza Shopping Center and was taken back to the hospital, according to the LCSO.
