New Cardio Studio Now Open In Leesburg

The Town of Leesburg has opened a new cardio studio, located on the lower level of the Ida Lee Recreation Center.

LEESBURG, VA — The Town of Leesburg has opened a new cardio studio at the Ida Lee Recreation Center, according to a press release. The new cardio studio opened on the lower level of the recreation center on Monday, Feb. 1.

The cardio studio provides an array of exercise equipment for gymgoers, including traditional cardio equipment like treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes. The studio also provides weighted equipment like kettle bells, body bars, and dumbbells.

The cardio studio will be open seven days a week, with operating hours to permit patrons with more workout options during the recreation center's busiest hours. From Monday to Friday, the new center will be available from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., and in the evenings from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. On weekends, the center will be accessible from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Leesburg residents and visitors can access the Ida Lee Recreation Center's offerings by paying for admission passes on a daily, yearly, or monthly rate. The recreation center also offers a pass that is valid for 25 visits to the facility. Admission passes are also available for families and couples. The price of admission varies based on residency, age, and the duration of the pass.

Like most facilities, the Ida Lee Recreation Center has made some adjustments to adapt to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Visitors are asked to bring their own mask to wear in hallways and common spaces, according to the Parks and Recreation Department's website.
