New Sculptures On Display, For Sale In Leesburg's Raflo Park
The new sculptures, on display in Raflo Park until June 2022, are for sale, with the proceeds benefiting public art projects in Leesburg.

LEESBURG, VA — The Leesburg Commission on Public Arts and the Friends of Leesburg Public Arts joined Mayor Kelly Burk last Saturday for the official unveiling of five new sculptures, all the work of local artists, on the ArtsPARKs sculpture trail in Raflo Park along Harrison Street.
The new sculptures will be on display until June 2022. The sculptures are for sale, with the proceeds benefiting public art projects in Leesburg.
“For any place to feel like home, art must be a component,” Burk said in a statement. “Art adds to the quality of life in any community. Thanks to the members of the Friends of Leesburg Public Art and the members of the Commission of Public Art for their dedication to making Leesburg an art destination.”

An advisory panel of three regional artists reviewed the submissions and selected the five finalists. The winning artists received an honorarium of $1,000.

ArtsPARKs is a collaboration between the Leesburg Commission on Public Art and the Friends of Leesburg Public Arts.
