New Sheetz To Open In Leesburg This Week
Sheetz announced that a new location is opening in Leesburg this week, and they're celebrating the occasion by donating to local charities.

LEESBURG, VA — A new Sheetz convenience store will open in Leesburg on Thursday, March 25. The new store is located at 601 California Drive NE, on the corner of Battlefield Parkway and Fort Evans Road.
In honor of the grand opening, Sheetz will donate a total of $5,000 to Virginia-based charities, according to a news release from the company. Sheetz said the donations show their commitment to the communities they serve.
Sheetz will donate $2,500 to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, a local Feeding America partner. The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank feeds more than 115,000 people every month across 25 Virginia counties. The Food Bank operates a network of more than 200 pantries and soup kitchens, and works with nonprofit groups, churches, and schools.

Sheetz will also donate another $2,500 to the Special Olympics of Virginia. The state's Special Olympics provides athletic training and competition opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. Sheetz has supported the Special Olympics for more than 25 years, the news release said.
The new Sheetz location will feature their made-to-order menu through touchscreen terminals. Customers will be able to order customized or specialty food and drink offerings through the terminals, according to the news release.
