No Trash, Recycling, Or Yard Waste Collection On Memorial Day Holiday

Leesburg, VA (May 24, 2021) – There will be no trash, recycling, or yard waste collection in Leesburg on the Memorial Day holiday, on Monday, May 31, 2021.

Trash, recycling, and yard waste will be shifted by one day. The revised holiday schedule for trash and recycling collection is as follows:
• Monday, May 31st – No collections

• Tuesday, June 1st – Northwest
• Tuesday, June 1st – Yard waste collection Town-wide
• Wednesday, June 2nd – Northeast, Inside the Bypass
• Thursday, June 3rd – Northeast, Outside the Bypass
• Friday, June 4th – Southwest, plus Meadowbrook
• Saturday, June 5th – Southeast, except Meadowbrook
There will be no commercial curbside collection on Monday, May 31. Commercial curbside customers will have trash collection Tuesday through Saturday. Recycling collection for commercial curbside customers will be on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday as currently scheduled.
