Nokesville Man Dies After Car Hits Tree: Police

The fatal accident occurred Tuesday night in Purcellville, says Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

PURCELLVILLE, VA — A Nokesville motorist died Tuesday night on a road in western Loudoun County when he tried to pass a pickup truck and his car collided with a tree, according to a police report. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is investigating the fatal accident.

Sheriff's deputies responded at 9:42 a.m. to the scene of the crash in the 19000 block of Silcott Springs Road (Route 690) in Purcellville. The driver, identified as Albert J. Bosco III, 44, was driving north on Silcott Springs Road when he attempted to pass a 2010 Toyota Tundra, the report stated.

At some point while attempting to pass, Bosco lost control of the Jetta and struck a fence and a tree, the LCSO said. He died at the scene, officials said.
