Purcellville Masked Man Incident Determined Fictitious: LCSO
After a thorough investigation, detectives say they determined that the teenager's report of being approached by a masked man was untrue.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA- After a week long investigation, Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) detectives determined that the report of a suspicious masked male in the Town of Purcellville was false, according to the LCSO.
Officers with the Town of Purcellville initially responded to the area of McDaniel Drive and Frazer Drive on Saturday, Sept. 4 where a teenager reported that she was approached by an unknown masked male.
Detectives with the LCSO responded to the scene to further investigate the circumstances of the reported incident.

Thorough investigation determined the incident did not occur and there was no masked man, according to the LCSO.
